Children from Years Five and Six truly sparkled and shone during their recent visit to watch a stage adaptation of the popular Christmas film Nativity. On Tuesday 29th November Year 5 visited the Birmingham Repertory Theatre to watch Nativity the Musical.
The production at The Rep Theatre in Birmingham told the story of St Bernadette’s School as they attempted to mount a musical version of the nativity story! The only trouble was that their teacher Mr Maddens had promised that a Hollywood producer was coming to see the show to turn it into a film.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and joined in with all the well-known songs from the original film.
The show was full of songs, laughter and touching moments. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the performance, clapping raucously throughout the show!
