School Admissions
The school and nursery follow the Dudley policy for pupil admissions. Parents can find out about local authority admission arrangements by clicking HERE.
In year school admissions are coordinated by Dudley Local Authority. If you would like to apply for a place at Roberts Primary School please contact Dudley School Admissions for an application form on 0300 555 2345.

Starting Primary School in September 2025
If your child's date of birth is between the 1st September 2020 and the 31st August 2021, you will need to apply for a primary school place between the 1st October 2024 and the 15th January 2025 for a September 2025 start.
If your child's date of birth is between the 1st September 2021 and the 31st August 2022, you will need to apply for a primary school place between the 1st October 2025 and the 15th January 2026 for a September 2026 start.

Starting Secondary in September 2025
Applications for secondary school admissions open on 1 September 2024.
Schools are holding open evenings throughout September and October and you are advised to attend these to help inform your decision.
You can apply for up to six schools.
The closing date for applications is 31 October 2024.
Your allocated school will be shared with you on 3 March 2025.

How Do I Apply Online
Online applications need to be submitted by 31 October 2024 by midnight.

🔹 You can apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also apply online at your local library.
🔹 There’s no risk that your application will be lost in the post as you will get email confirmation that your application has been received
🔹 It’s safe and secure
🔹 E-mail decision received after 2pm on 3 March 2025
Paper Application Form
If you cannot apply online, you can complete a paper application form. Forms will need to be returned by 31 October 2024 by 5pm.
🔹 You will need to contact the School Admissions Service on 0300 555 2345 for a form to be issued to you
🔹 Parents are strongly encouraged to return the form by recorded delivery as acknowledgements of receipt are not sent by the service
🔹 Please note, if you do choose this method your offer is posted on 3 March 2025 direct to the home address
