School Council Houses of Parliament Visit
Our School Council were given the chance to go to London and visit the Houses of Parliament.
It was an early start and a long drive but we had a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament and even managed to watch Sajid Javid, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Jeremy Hunt, the former Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and other Members of Parliament debate ideas in the House of Commons.
After that we had lunch in Jubilee Gardens (with a few friendly pigeons and a very talented dog playing football!)
We then went on the London Eye to see which famous parts of London we could see:
Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing Street and lots of other well known sites.
